Apple Stores in Germany have stopped selling the iPad and iPhone on Vodafone and O2 Contracts. They are only selling the devices with Deutsche Telekom contract or SIM free for now.
This new regulation from Apple is only valid for postpaid contracts with prepaid SIM from Vodafone still being available in stores. The Cupertino company has also stopped selling iPhones and iPad on contract through its online store in Germany.
Interested consumers in Germany can still buy an iPhone or iPad on contract through the retail stores of their respective carriers.
Apparently, Apple did not renew its contract with operators in Germany, which has led it to stop selling its iOS devices on contract to customers.
