Some more iPad Pro rumors today. According to a new report, Apple’s rumored 12.9-inch iPad Pro will come with plenty of new features.
The iPad Pro could come with a Stylus, have NFC, use the new Force Touch tech found in the Apple Watch and the 12-inch MacBook and could feature an USB Type-C connector.
A source told Apple Insider, that the iPad Pro will have a Bluetooth enabled stylus along with a new touchscreen with improved touch latency.
This new touchscreen would provide better experience when using the stylus. According to the source, the Apple Stylus would feature a pressure-sensitive input.
Since Apple has added NFC in all its latest products, it’s a no-brainer that the iPad Pro will have this feature as well. The NFC feature would enable iPad Pro users to use the device as a payment receiving terminal for Apple Pay, similar to the current gen Apple iPads.
The touchscreen on the iPad Pro would also feature Force Touch technology, which can sense pressure from your fingertips for various kinds of inputs. It is currently being used in the Apple Watch and the new 12-inch MacBook.
The alleged iPad Pro will also feature the new USB Type-c connector introduced by Apple in the 12-inch MacBook. A recent case leak did show two ports, one of which could be the Type-C connector. Will Apple get rid of the lightning connector for the iPad Pro? We’re not sure. Also, the iPad Pro will probably come with an Apple A9 processor.
